Patch Pockets
Patch pocket is easiest way of sewing pockets for skirt and for any other garments. Learn how to sew patch pockets with my step-by-step guide!

Pattern
Before start sew any garment you need make a sewing pattern. A paper pattern parts need laid out onto fabric.
Note: Before cutting fabric you need to add seam allowances.

Pencil Skirt
Pencil skirt is a medium-length straight skirt (below knee) that not have expansion around a hem line. Pencil skirt is fairly tight fitting model.

Pins
Metal pins that are used for some sewing works have some different sizes and types: they may be with glass head pins, ball-point pins, silk pins, quilting pins, plastic head craft pins, T-pins and other.

Piping with cord
Piping with cord inside is a kind of bias binding. Piping with cord is used for decoration of bags, covers etc. For sewing the piping closer to cord you need use a zipper presser foot.

Pleat
Pleats are needed for increasing splendor of skirts. Simple skirts pleats you can make by double folding fabric along waistline of skirt.

Pocket Flap
This pocket flap has two pieces of fabric (without lining). You need cut fusible interfacing material also. Tutorial on making a pocket flap to pants or skirts.

Presser Foot
Presser foot is needed for moving fabrics during sewing on machine. It presses a fabric to teeth of feed dog. There are a lot of different presser feet which are used to perform specific functions.
